Our Kitchen

GKI’s manufacturing plant is a 70,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, sophisticated and controlled facility on the near west side of Chicago. Co-founder Farzad Shahsavarani, a former engineer, designed the building based on many European fresh food manufacturing models he had seen while traveling abroad.

Our manufacturing facility maintains a cold-chain environment throughout, ensuring the shelf life and safety of our product. The flow of food and people through the building is specifically controlled and the air quality and ventilation consistently monitored.

In addition to our internal safety monitoring best practices, GKI has successfully completed audits with NSF Cook and Thurber Food Safety and received an excellent rating.
